Camp Hol
Die Serie von Morden im Auffang- und Internierungslager Hol in Nordostsyrien reißt nicht ab. Erneut wurde in einer Kanalisation die Leiche einer Schutzsuchenden gefunden.

Die Sicherheitslage im Auffang- und Internierungslager Hol im Nordosten von Syrien bleibt problematisch. Erneut ist eine Schutzsuchende in dem Camp bei Hesekê ermordet worden. Die Identität der Toten ist noch unbekannt, ihre Leiche wurde in der Kanalisation in einem Abschnitt für syrische Vertriebene gefunden. Auch wie die Frau ermordet wurde, konnte bisher nicht geklärt werden.

Mit den Ermittlungen wurden die Asayîş als Sicherheitskräfte der Autonomen Administration von Nord- und Ostsyrien (AANES) betraut. Diese vermuten Zellenstrukturen der Dschihadistenmiliz „Islamischer Staat“ (IS) hinter dem Mord und warnen vor einer Ausdehnung solcher Angriffe. Seit die Aggression der Türkei gegen Nord- und Ostsyrien eskaliert, sei in Camp Hol eine massive Steigerung der Fälle von Gewalt zu verzeichnen, die oftmals tödlich endete. Erst vor einer Woche war in dem Lager die geköpfte Leiche eines 1982 in Deir ez-Zor geborenen Mannes entdeckt worden. Seit Anfang des Jahres sind mindestens 29 Personen in Hol ermordet worden. 2021 gab es nach Angaben der Lagerverwaltung mindestens 127 Mordfälle in dem Lager.

Camp Hol

Camp Hol liegt etwa 40 Kilometer östlich der Kantonshauptstadt Hesekê im irakisch-syrischen Grenzgebiet und ist so groß wie eine Stadt. Es wurde Anfang 1991 während des Zweiten Golfkriegs vom UNHCR für irakische Flüchtlinge errichtet. Nachdem es zwischenzeitlich geschlossen war, wurde das Camp im Zuge des Irakkrieges 2003 wiedereröffnet. Seit der Zerschlagung der Territorialherrschaft des IS durch die Demokratischen Kräfte Syriens (QSD) im März 2019 gilt Camp Hol als tickende Zeitbombe und Brutstätte des IS, da es hauptsächlich zur Unterbringung von Frauen und Kindern benutzt wird, die zuvor in Gebieten unter Kontrolle des IS lebten.

Der Terror in Camp Hol geht hauptsächlich von der sogenannten IS-Religionspolizei für Frauen und der IS-Jugendorganisation „Junglöwen des Kalifats“ aus und richtet sich gegen Menschen, die nicht nach den Maßstäben des IS leben. Bei den meisten Personen, die Mordversuche überlebten, handelt es sich um irakische Schutzsuchende und Abtrünnige des IS.

War Hol zu Beginn für 10.000 Personen ausgelegt, halten sich heute etwa 55.000 Menschen aus verschiedenen Ländern dort auf. Bei mehr als der Hälfte handelt es sich um Geflüchtete aus dem Irak, die meisten von ihnen sind Kinder. Knapp 19.000 Menschen sind Vertriebene aus Syrien, außerdem sind rund 8.000 Angehörige von IS-Dschihadisten untergebracht.[1]
