العلامة الدكتور: محمد مُكري: كاتب وباحث وعالم لغوي ومؤرخ وشاعر.
- ولد سنة 1921 في مدينة كرمشان في كردستان الشرقية
- حاصل علی شهادة الدكتوراة في الأدب الفارسي
- تعرض للسجن والملاحقة في عهد الشاه وعهد ولاية الفقيه
- سنة 1940 ولغاية 1945 أصبح المدير الثقافي للإدارة العامة للتأليف في وزارة الثقافة
- سنة 1943 ولغاية 1944 تولی مديرية المعارف في محافظة كردستان
- سنة 1945 ولغاية 1949 من مؤسسي إدارة شؤون القبائل والعشائر في إيران وأول رئيس لها
- سنة 1946 أصبح المعد لخطط تعليمات التعليم الإجباري والعمومي في إيران
- سنة 1950 ولغاية 1953 أصبح أستاذ التاريخ وعلوم الأدب في كلية الضباط
- سنة 1951 أصبح المدير العام في وزارة الثقافة الإيرانية
- سنة 1952 أصبح المدير المسؤول لمجلة - ماد وبغستان -
سنة 1951 ولغاية 1953 أصبح أستاذ اللغة الفارسية والأدب الفارسي واللغة البهلوية الساسانية في جامعة طهران
- سنة 1951 ولغاية 1953 أصبح أستاذ علم الأساطير في كلية الفنون الجميلة
- سنة 1965 نال جائزة مجمع الفنون والأثار الوطنية والأدبية من فرنسا
- سنة 1979 عاد إلی إيران إثر إنتصار الثورة الإسلامية
سنة 1979 ولغاية 1983 أصبح سفير إيران في موسكو ومنغوليا
- سنة 1985 ولغاية 1986 أصبح المستشار الأول لوزير النفط الإيراني
- سنة 1988 غادر إيران إلی فرنسا
- سنة 2005 أصبح أستاذاً في جامعة السوربون الفرنسية
- كان عضواً في أغلب الجمعيات العلمية الأوربية
- كتب باللغات / الفرنسية - الكردية - الإنكليزية - العربية - الفارسية /
- سنة 1975 شارك في المؤتمر الرابع والعشرين للمستشرقين والمنعقد في ميونيخ وقد قدم بحثين في المؤتمر وهما: نشوء العالم عند أكراد طائفة أهل الحق - ومزية الطيور في الفلكلور الفارسي والكردي
- له أكثر من 100 كتاب وأكثر من 700 مقالة وبحث
- ومن مؤلفاته نذكر:
- الهدية الحميدية في اللغة الكردية - تحقيق
- الغناء الكردي
- قاموس اللغات الهندوأوربية
- التصوف في الإسلام
- الموسيقا والتصوف
- الأساطير في إيران قبل الإسلام
- توفي في فرنسا بتاريخ 12 تموز سنة 2007 عليه رحمة الله تعالی[1]
