Demonstration gegen Vertrag von Lausanne
Zum Jahrestag des Vertrags von Lausanne hat eine Demonstration gegen die türkische Besatzung in Kurdistan stattgefunden.
Zum 99. Jahrestag der Unterzeichnung des Vertrags von Lausanne ist am Sonnabend in der Stadt am Genfer See gegen die türkische Besatzung in Kurdistan demonstriert worden. Aufgerufen zu dem Protest hatten verschiedene Gruppen und Organisation, darunter der kurdische Dachverband CDK-S und die Kampagne „Defend Kurdistan“.

Das Motto der Demonstration lautete „Die Revolution von Rojava im hundertsten Jahr von Lausanne verteidigen“, Startpunkt war der Platz vor dem Palais de Rumine in der Altstadt. Dort wurde am 24. Juli 1923 Vertrag von Lausanne abgeschlossen, mit dem die heutigen Staatsgrenzen der Türkei und damit die Teilung Kurdistans festgelegt wurde. Auch in anderen Ländern nahmen kurdische Organisationen den Jahrestag zum Anlass deutlich zu machen, dass die Gesellschaft Kurdistans auch fast ein Jahrhundert nach Unterzeichnung das Abkommen von Lausanne nicht akzeptiert. Mit dem Abkommen sind die Grundlagen dafür gelegt worden, dass das kurdische Volk missachtet und seine Existenz verleugnet wird.

Nach einer Schweigeminute für die Gefallenen des kurdischen Befreiungskampfes gab es zunächst eine Auftaktkundgebung. Als Rednerinnen und Redner traten Hatice Kandal vom Organisationskomitee, der Politiker Ilias Panchard, der für die Grünen im Stadtrat von Lausanne sitzt, der PJAK-Vertreter Abdollah Mostafa Soltani, der PYD-Politiker Abbas Omar, Miran Salih von der Gorran-Bewegung sowie Derya Çelik (Sozialistische Partei) und Idris Samim (Arbeiterpartei) ans Mikrofon. In den Beiträgen wurde zusammenfassend festgehalten, dass die Kurdinnen und Kurden seit Unterzeichnung des Lausanner Vertrages unter der Souveränität der herrschenden Nationalstaaten Türkei, Syrien, Irak und Iran genozidaler Gewalt, Assimilierung und Massakern ausgesetzt gewesen seien und von internationalen Hegemonialmächten als Verhandlungsmasse benutzt würden.

Im Anschluss an die Redebeiträge setzte sich die Demonstration lautstark und kämpferisch unter einem bunten Fahnenmeer in Bewegung. Mit Parolen wie „Bijî Berxwedana Gerîla“ und „Bijî Rojava, bijî YPG û YPJ“ wurde der Widerstand der kurdischen Befreiungsbewegung und der Verteidigungskräfte Nord- und Ostsyriens gegen den neoosmanischen Expansionismus des türkischen Staates gewürdigt. Auf zahlreichen Plakaten war NoFlyZoneForRojava zu lesen, die Forderung einer Flugverbotszone über den Gebieten der Autonomen Administration von Nord- und Ostsyrien (AANES).

Mittlerweile hat die Demonstration ihren Zielort, das Càteau d'Ouchy, erreicht. Das Schloss war Tagungsort der Verhandlungen für den Vertrag von Lausanne. Das Programm wird mit politischen und kulturellen Beiträgen fortgesetzt. Eine Sprecherin wies auf die kurdische Konferenz zum Lausanner Abkommen hin, die am morgigen Sonntag im Palais de Rumine stattfindet. Veranstaltet vom Kurdistan Nationalkongress und anderen kurdischen Organisationen, wird mit Ausnahme der vom Barzanî-Clan dominierten Partei PDK ein breites Spektrum kurdischer Strukturen vertreten sein.
