He was born in 1950 in a village around #Mahabad#, in eastern part of Kurdistan.
He completed his primary and secondary education in Mahabad and received a master's degree in electrical engineering from Tabriz University.
During the Shah's regime, he was imprisoned for political activities at the university for a year.
In 1979, he became a member of the Central Committee of Komala and in 1983 he was elected as the first secretary of Komala. From then untill now he is a commandning member of Iran communist party and has been the secretary of Komala until now.[1]
