He was born in 1912 and was an active member of the Kurdish Writers Union - Kirkuk Branch and deputy chairman of the branch's board of directors. He lived in Koya and died in Sulaymaniyah at the age of 72 years. He is known to have written the book on Kurdish Grammar.
He was a teacher at elementary school for boys in Koya from the beginning of the 1930s. In April 1936, he encouraged the fifth and sixth grade students to go on strike against teaching in Arabic because they had converted their education to Arabic. As a result, the students' demands were met and Kurdish became the language of teaching. However, he and the school principal were expelled from Koya.
Tayer was a talented writer. He developed the Kurdish script and grammar project and published it in 1969 in a book called Script at the Shimal Printing House in Kirkuk. Later, the Kurdish Information Forum benefited greatly from it and the book was reduced to 144 medium-sized pages.
Tayer Sadiq was invited to participate in the first and second local congresses of Kurdish teachers held in 1959 and 1960 in Shaqlawa resort and made many useful suggestions and recommendations on teaching Kurdish language, history, and literature in schools of Kurdistan.
With the establishment of the Kurdish Writers Union on #10-02-1970# he became a member of the literary organization and when the Kirkuk branch of the union was opened in Kirkuk he was elected as a member of the board of directors and vice president.
He died on #05-11-1984#.[2]
