Nordostsyrischer Frauenrat
Nach dem tödlichen Drohnenangriff in #Qamişlo# klagt der Frauenrat von Nord- und Ostsyrien zum wiederholten Mal die Gleichgültigkeit der westlichen Welt angesichts der Kriegsverbrechen der Türkei in den Autonomiegebieten an.
Der Frauenrat Nord- und Ostsyriens hat der internationalen Gemeinschaft ein „beschämendes Schweigen“ angesichts der zahlreichen Völkerrechtsbrüche der Türkei in der Region vorgeworfen. Die westliche Welt und vor allem jene staatlichen Akteure, die sich implizit als „Retter Syriens“ darstellten, reagierten seltsam teilnahmslos auf die so offensichtlich illegalen Angriffe des türkischen Staates in den nordostsyrischen Autonomiegebieten, erklärte die Organisation am Sonntag in einer Mitteilung.
Es gehe um Kriegsverbrechen und Verbrechen gegen die Menschheit, die als Teil eines „umfassenden und genozidalen Vernichtungsangriffs“ der Führung in Ankara an den Gesellschaften Nord- und Ostsyriens verübt würden, auf Vertreibung, Entvölkerung und weitere Besetzungen abzielten sowie zu einer Vertiefung der Krise im Land führten. „In Anbetracht dessen bedeutet dieses Schweigen der internationalen Gemeinschaft eine schwere Mitschuld“, so der Frauenrat.
Hintergrund der scharfen Kritik ist der tödliche Drohnenangriff des türkischen NATO-Staates am Samstag in der Großstadt Qamişlo, bei dem vier Menschen, darunter zwei Jugendliche, ums Leben kamen und zwei weitere verletzt wurden. Unter den Todesopfern befindet sich auch Rûxaz Amûdê, Mitglied des militärischen Disziplinarausschusses der Demokratischen Kräfte Syriens (QSD).
Der Frauenrat sprach den Angehörigen der Getöteten sein Mitgefühl aus und wünschte den Verwundeten eine schnelle Genesung. Von der internationalen Gemeinschaft fordert die Frauenorganisation, das Schweigen angesichts dieser Zustände in Nord- und Ostsyrien sofort zu brechen und alle ihr zur Verfügung stehenden Mittel zu nutzen, die kriegerische Aggression der Türkei gegen die Region zu beenden.

Über 60 Drohnenangriffe in Rojava in 2022

Der NATO-Staat Türkei setzt seit Jahren Drohnen zur extralegalen Tötung von „Feinden“ in Nord- und Ostsyrien ein. Die Angriffe richten sich gezielt gegen Vertreterinnen und Vertreter der Selbstverwaltungsstrukturen, Mitglieder von Kampfverbänden sowie die Zivilbevölkerung. Seit Jahresbeginn verzeichneten die Behörden mehr als 60 türkische Drohnenangriffe in den Autonomiegebieten. Über 30 Menschen kamen dabei ums Leben, fast 70 wurden verletzt (Stand 7. August 2022). Vor dem Anschlag am Samstag in Qamişlo hatte die Türkei am Donnerstag das Stadtzentrum von Tel Rifat mit einer Drohne angegriffen. Neun Menschen wurden verwundet, darunter sechs Kinder und Jugendliche.[1]
