Tahir Ahmed Hawezi was born on #01-07-1919# in the city of #Koya#. He started his primary education in the city of Koya however He did his secondary school in the city of #Erbil#. In the year 1947 he became a teacher in Mawat which is a town near #Sulaymaniyah#. He was also a teacher in Qaladze town, Sulaymaniyah city and Sheikh Ahmad school in the Ammar province and he was also a teacher and the principle in the big Elinjaghi school.
In the year 1951 he returned to Koya and became a teacher in the first school of Koya until he retired in the year 1970. In the year 1962, he was imprisoned for around eight months with a group of employees and teachers in Koya. He has participated in the first congress of the Kurdistan Teachers Union in the town of Shaqlawa near Erbil.
