She was born in 1952 in Sina, East Kurdistan. She is a graduate of the Department of Deaf Children. In 1969, she made her theatrical debut in a play directed by Sadiq Tarif. She was active in athletics in high school and was the champion of Sina for many years. She also became interested in writing poetry at the age of 15. From 2000 to 2003, she was the president of the Literary Council of Sina and one of the founders of the NGO for the Defense of Drug Addicts from 1999 to 2002. In 2003, Simin was a member of the responsible committee of Omid House to take responsibility for the children who are homeless and unemployed. She was also a member of the founding committee of the Kurdistan Writers' Center of Iran. She is currently the chairperson of the Kurdish Women's Committee of the World Pen Council and a member of the World Children's Council. She has been invited to speak at many conferences in Iran, Kurdistan Region and abroad. Ms. Chaichi has two daughters, Stara, 32, and Barhara, 30, and three sons, Roozba, 22, Arsh, 20, and Aryan.

Publication of two plays for children named City of Peace, Uncle and King of Mouse. It is worth mentioning that Khal Khaloka and King of Mouse won most of the awards in the second Kurdish theater festival in Saqiz in 2001. He was selected to participate in the Fajr International Theater Festival. This play was also performed in 2002 by the Kurdistan Theater Group in London, UK.
Participation of Simin Chapchi's play Nuche in the International Puppet Theater Festival in Tehran in 2002 was a big success.
