Her full name is Aysheshan Osman, she was born in the year 1938 in the city of Amed northern Kurdistan. She started singing at the age of 20, she stopped singing and moved away from it for a while because her father and her family had a strong sense of religiosity, they forbid her to sing especially in the places were men were present, they thought singing is not allowed for women and it would bring shame of their family thus they forbid themselves from seeing aysheshan and interacting with her anymore. In the year 1958, she started singing in the Turkish language on Radio Antep with the help of Nail Bayshur, but because of her strong and endless desire to sing Kurdish songs, she was expelled from Radio Antep. In 1963, she moved to Istanbul, where she sang both in Kurdish language and Turkish language, because of her Kurdish songs she was under constant pressure of the fascist Turks so because of this she moved to Germany. In Germany, a girl died at the age of 18. This tragedy was of a great sadness for Aishashan in exile, so because of this for this tragedy she sang a song with the name (Kadar) which means Destiny. In the year 1979, she moved to Iraq. She worked for Kurdish Radio in Baghdad for a while. Unfortunately, she passed away of cancer on #18-12-1996#.
Because of her desire to be buried in Amed, they moved her body back to Amed were she was buried forever.[1]
