He was born in 1318 of solar calendar in the village of Kalurnshin between #Kermanshah# and Western Gelan. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in this city. He was very interested in Kurdish culture and literature since childhood. He has written a number of articles on Kurdish traditions and regions that he could not publish due to poverty. He is one of the most emotional poets of Kermanshah who was successful in writing ghazals and was known as the teacher of ghazals by other poets.
Ahmad Haiderbaigi lived in Hamedan from 1980 until the last moments of his life. He had been suffering from cancer for many years and was visiting Tehran every now and then for medication purpose. He passed away due to this illness in a hospital in Hamedan city.
Ahmad Haiderbaigi was isolated during his lifetime and was not very interested in being introduced through the media. So he lived very quietly and left this world quietly aswell. He left behind several collections of poems, which are considered by young poets and poetry critics to be at a very high level, including: Put Your Solitude on My Shoulder” A Mountain of Red Flowers of Poetry and Labyrinth”.
Before he was thinking about his reputation as a poet, he was always thinking about his poetic mission, because of this his poems all of them contain the color and smell of people’s wounds and suffering.
Ahmad Haiderbaigi was a member of the Iranian Writers' Association. During his years of cultural and literary activities, he published several articles in valuable Iranian magazines, including Kalk, Bukhara, Nafa and in Kermanshah and Hamadan’s magazines and newspapers He has published several valuable writings.[1]
