He was born in 1946 in the city of Sulaymaniyah in South Kurdistan, and was brought up on patriotism and nationalism since childhood, as he was born in a family that lived by such values. He graduated from the Law College in Baghdad in 1968 and became a lawyer. He graduated from the Law College in the city of Baghdad in 1968 and became a lawyer. He defended the oppressed and continued his political struggle. In 1969-1970, he was the editor-in-chief of the magazine Rzgari.
In 1970-1975, Mr. Shazad worked loyally and selflessly in the ranks of Komala Ranjdaran Kurdistan. After the defeat of the Kurdistan National Union (KNU) in 1975, he played a significant role in conveying the instructions and recommendations of the revolutionary leadership between the country and abroad. In 1980, he went to the mountains and became a Peshmerga.
In 1978-1983, he was the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan’s (PUK) representative in Syria and Lebanon. In 1988, he was the PUK's representative in Europe. In 1994, he was the PUK's representative in Ankara, Turkey.
In 2001, he accepted the position of Minister of Agriculture in the third cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government.
Mr. Shazad Saib was loved by his friends and comrades, and he did not like to be in high positions and positions of power, but he attended to his duty with utmost seriousy.
He was very faithful to his duties to serve his people, but unfortunately on 21-05-2001 he died in a tragic accident near the town of Piramagrun.[1]
