He was born in 1957 in the village of Tomari in Shwan district. He completed his primary and secondary school in #Kirku#k and high school in #Baghdad#. In 1981, he left Kurdistan and started living in #Geneva# for a while and started studying drama and publishing his collection of poems with the name Zardk In the year 1988, he went to France to study In 1999 he received his PhD in literary comparison . He is currently Professor of History of French Language and Literature at the University of Castilla la Mancha, Spain.
He began his career in poetry, performing arts and theater, and in addition to poetry and literary research, he also worked on novels and literary translation.
