Shortly thereafter, I was arrested in the name of Kurdishness for a year and imprisoned in Kirkuk prison After severe torture, I was released by amnesty in 1965. Shortly after the Ba'ath regime came to power, I was ordered by the intelligence agency to go to prison thus I joined the September Revolution and I was the head of Kifri Areas and got the Cadre post and I became a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) organizations until the year1969 when I moved to Penjwen. After that, I became the commander of the detachment in the third branch of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP). I participated in several battles such as Qaywan, Mara Rash and many other battles until the morning of March 1970. After that I came back to Kirkuk as a detachment commander In 1973, we moved to Sangaw until the Ba'athist statement against the Kurdish people. Then the third branch entered Erbil. We stayed there until the great spring uprising of 1991. After that, I renewed my contacts and continued in the Kurdistan Democratic Party Social Branch (3) Kirkuk.[1]
