Jalal Malaksha
Jalal Malaksha
He is a famous Kurdish poet. He was born on 19-03-1951 in Malaksha village of the city of #Sanandaj#. He was educated and went to school in the city of Sanandaj. He was interested in poetry and writing since his childhood.
As a peaceful man, Jalal could not turn a blind eye to oppression and he fought in the field of struggle against oppression with his pen, he faced many torture and imprisonment due to this.
He initially wrote poetry, plays and stories in Persian. Because of his skills in writing, he became a member of the Iranian Writers' Association without having any books published.
After the year 1357 of solar calendar, he returned to the Kurdish language and had considerable success in Kurdish. He became a member of Sarwa magazine as a writer and journalist for 14 years and really promoted the Kurdish language and literature.
Jalal's poems have been translated into Persian, Arabic, English, Libyan, Swedish and other languages.[1]
Jalal was in Sanandaj in the year 1387 of solar calendar and although he has fallen into the trap of fate, he is undoubtedly one of the rare writers who has never sacrificed his pen to bread, name and power. Two of Jalal's famous poems (Hata Lotka Chandi Mawe?) (Dastan Dara Pira) are among his most famous poems published in his book Zray Zanjiri Wsha Dilakan.
He passed away on 31-10-2010

One of Jalal Maleksha's poems:
a wish
shall it be
be that day
Kaveh, my son
Put his travel bag on his shoulder
Brokers in front of the garage in Sanandaj
