Turaj Aslani was born in January of the year 1973 in Sanqur township of the #Kermanshah# province. He graduated from Soora University in Tehran, in the graphic and cinematic producing department. He started working as a photographer at the age of 10 at the Children's Intellectual Education Center in Sanquri college. At the age of 14, he began shooting short films with an 8mm camera. In the year 1990, he started his career as a director in the Kermanshah Youth Cinema Council. Aslani made 10 short cartoons, documentaries, and stories in Kermanshah Youth Cinema Council and Iranian Youth Cinema in 8mm and 16mm video sizes, including Kwer means Desert, Masi means fish, Shahr Aktur means the city of actors, Kazim Azami from Ardabil means Kazim sent from Ardabil, Bghz Kudkana means childish and Mituwanim means we can. In the year 2000, Turaj Aslani became the youngest director of Iranian cinema with his film Khawab Safid means White Dream, directed by Hamid Jibili and produced by Majid Moderis. He has directed more than 25 high-quality films in Iranian cinema and the Ministry of Culture of the Kurdistan Regional Government, he was the director of filming. He has got the best Cinematography Award at the 60th San Sebastian International Film Festival, for Bahmani Ghobadi's Karkadan’s Season. Turaj Aslani has successfully participated in various international festivals and won several important awards at the international level. The Golden frog award of Poland in the year 2012 is one of them. He owns three well-known cinematic films, including Gold truck Gold Runner and the movie GINKGO and the latest one is Homeless.[1]
