He was born in 1318 AH ( 1939 AD) in the city of Mahabad, East Kurdistan.
In 1953, he became an active member of the Democratic Youth Union and then the Democratic Party, and he began a secret struggle with his comrades.
His activity and credibility in the struggle had led him to gain a prominent social and political position among the people of Mahabad and its surroundings, which played an important role in organizing the first demonstration of the Kurdish people against the monarchy after Aziz Yusufi was martyred.
Following the demonstration, he and several other friends were imprisoned for a while.
The reliability and struggle of this struggler was such that many active cadres of the party, including martyr Dr. Qasemloo, stayed with him during their secret visits and organized their activities.
It is also worth mentioning that due to his efforts and hard work the first printing house of the party was established after the collapse of the Kurdistan Republic.
In addition, Mohammad Gadani played a significant role in other demonstrations against the Pahlavi regime that eventually led to its overthrow and fall of the regime.
After the fall of the monarchy in Iran, Mr. Mohammad continued to fight for the national rights of his nation with more courage. Along with other members of the Democratic Party, he chose the life of a Peshmerga and served in various organs of the party (financial and social commissions as well as the secretariat) for nearly two decades.
In 1992, Mohammad Gadani and his family moved abroad and settled in Norway.[1]
