She was born in 1971 in Rawanduz. She joined the Kurdistan Communist Party in 1991. She started her career in the field of women's rights.
In 2001, she was a candidate of the Kurdistan Communist Party for the mayor of Rawanduz.
In 2005, she was a candidate of the same party for the Kurdistan and Iraqi parliaments. She is also a member of the Soran local committee of the party and head of the Soran branch of the Kurdistan Women's Association.[1]
