ئەشعار مەجنوون مەسپارد وە خاتر
جەو دما مەکەرد سەبت نە دەفاتر
ئەوزاع ئەحواڵ، مەکان مەجنوون
مەزاناش دایم چون دووڕ مەکنوون
ئەسرار و ئەشعار قەیسش جە بەغداد
مونتەشر مەکەرد جە ڕووی عەدڵ و داد
ئەوەن موئەلیف ئەسڵ ئی کتاب
بە تازی زبان کەردەنش خیتاب
جەو پەی نیزامی، دانای گەنجەوی
کەردەنش بە نەزم نامەی مەعنەوی
مەواچۆ هەر ڕۆ قەیس لۆنگ وە پێڵ
جە دەشت و دامان دوجەیل مەبی وێڵ
مەوانا ئەشعار، مەپەرسا ئەخبار
جە باوان لەیل عامیری تەبار
ڕۆژێ جە ڕاویار ئەژنی ئی کەلام
مەهدی لەیلش دان وە ئیبنی سەلام
وەخت بی مورغ ڕۆح جە بەند قەفەس
بدەرۆ پەرواز نیمەی نیم نەفەس
واتی وە خنجەر جەرگت شکاوا
یا بەرقێ نە چەرخ وە فەرقش یاوا
جە هیجران لەیل زار و زەبوون بی
مەفتوونتەر جە پێش خاستەر مەجنوون بی
چەنی وەحش و تەیر بی وە هام پەیمان
وێش کەرد وە جادار موڵک سولەیمان
جانەوەر بەو تەور نە دەورش دا جۆش
حەق بی پێش واچان سولتانولوحوش
کامەدا فەرمان بە وەحش و تیوور
وێنەی سوڵتانان نامدار غەیوور
ئیتاعەی فەرمان مەجنوون مەکەردەن
دەستوورات ئەو بەڕا مەبەردان
کێشا نە دەروون نایرەی دوخان
بی وە مشتێ پۆست چەنی ئیستخوان
گنا وە ڕووی خاک وێنەی زەلیلان
جە سایەی درەخت خار موغەیلان
گاه گلە جە بەخت، گاه گلە جە دۆست
گاه ئاهیر مەشی وە ئیستخوان و پۆست
ڕاویار جە واتەی خەجاڵەتی بەرد
بەخسێ جە گوفتار دەڵاڵەتی کەرد
وات شەوهەر لەیل خەیلێ بەدبەختەن
گیرۆدەی ئازار عەزاب سەختەن
تەمام گەنج و ماڵ، دانە و جەواهیر
ڕێزا وە سارا چون سەنگ باهێر
سوودێ نەدا پێش، هەر بەو تەور بیکرەن
دائم المدام قەیسش نە فیکرەن
مەجنوون ئەژنی وەسف، وەفای دڵ ئارام
کەمێ جە ئەندووه دڵش گرت ئارام
هۆر گرتش خامە، نویسا نامە
بۆ دۆس دێرین، بۆو دڵ ئارامە
