Raheem Luqmani

Raheem Luqmani
He was born in 1959 in Saltakaltoo village of Sarshiv district of Saqiz.
The poet and writer of Saqiz first went to school in his village, then received a diploma from Daneshsara in Saqiz and became a school teacher in the villages of Khurkhora, Sara, Gowrk and Sarshiv in Saqiz. He later entered Payam Noor University and received a bachelor's degree in Persian literature. He is currently a school teacher in Sina.
Raheem Luqmani not only had a literary and artistic pen, but also learned to play the tambourine because of his love for Kurdish music.
Although he was a child during the Iranian People's Revolution, Mr. Raheem read revolutionary poetry in meetings during the revolution and later it was published on Kurdish radio and magazines under the titles of Nakaroz and Shirwan.
He was dismissed in 1982 for some of these poems. In 1983 and 1984, he faced several problems and was even imprisoned in Saqiz prison for a while.
He was released on bail in 1985 and then went to Salahaddin Ayyubi's Sarwa Publishing House in Urmia, where he worked with members of writers.
In 1987, unable to leave his family, he was recalled to his job as a school teacher, but after a trial in Tehran, he was sentenced to a one-third reduction in his monthly salary. Although he taught in a different village in Saqiz region every year, he began to collect Kurdish stories, writings, articles and literary works.
He has constantly participated in Kurdish events and ceremonies. He continued his studies and received a bachelor's degree in Persian language and literature from Payam Noori University in Saqiz.
In 1999, he was forced to move to the mountains of Aviyer Forest in Sina, where he lived a bitter and difficult life. This time he became a secondary school teacher and taught Persian to Kurdish children.
He has participated in many Kurdish literary congresses and seminars.
- Kurdish Rumi Congress in Saqiz.
- In 2000, he gave a good speech on the rhythm of Rumi's poetry at the Rumi Festival in Sulaymaniyah.
- Participated in Hawraman Congress and seminars of Kurdish poetry and literature in Sanaa.
- In 2006, he participated in the Nali Congress in El Beg Jaf Center, Sulaymaniyah.
- In 2003, he published several books of a small section called Zamstan. In those years, the publication of Kurdish books was not as difficult as it is now. Earlier, Goran Publishing House in Sina published the poems in the form of “resography” without the poet's consent and rebroadcast them under their own name. However, later they published it regularly and it was sold out very soon.[1]
