Neçirvan Barzani & Nadia Murad
#Kürdistan# Bölgesi Başkanı #Neçirvan Barzani#, Ezidi aktivist ve Nobel Barış Ödülü sahibi #Nadia Murad#'ı kabul ederek, 2014'teki IŞİD saldırısında kaybolan Ezidilerin durumunu görüştü.
Başkan Neçirvan Barzani’nin görüşme ile ilgili sosyal medya hesabından yapılan açıklamada, “Bugün Ezidi Aktivist Nadia Murad ile görüştüm. Hala kayıp olan binlerce Ezidiyi ve kurtarma çabalarını koordine etmenin önemini tartıştık. Ayrıca Şengal’deki durumu ve soykırımdan kurtulanlara yönelik yardım çabalarını ele aldık” denildi.
IŞİD'in 2014 yılında Şengal’e saldırması sonucu binlerce Ezidi öldürüldü. Öldürülenlerin birçoğunun cesetleri hala toplu mezarlarda bulunuyor.
Yaklaşık 7.000 #Ezidi kadın# ve kız çocuğu da IŞİD tarafından köleleştirildi ve cinsel köle olarak kullanıldı. Bu kadın ve çocukların yaklaşık yarısı, onları bulmak için devam eden çabalara rağmen hala kayıp.
IŞİD’ın kurbanlarından biri olan Murad da attığı tweet'te, Kürdistan Bölgesi Başkanı Neçirvan Barzani’yi etiketleyerek “Hâlâ kayıp olan Ezidilerin kritik meselelerinde sizinle birlikte çalışmayı dört gözle bekliyorum” dedi.[1]
