The project grant was awarded in 2007 to Ludwig Paul (Universität Hamburg), Geoffrey Haig (at that time, Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel, and since 2010, Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg), and Philip Kreyenbroek (Georg-August-Universität Göttingen).
