Jamal Najjari was born in 1979 in Mahabad, East Kurdistan. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Bokan. In 1999, he became a member of the Bokan Literary Council and became involved in the Kurdish language and literature. In 2002, he became the head of the Bokan Literary Council and held this responsibility until 2004.
In 2004, he moved to South Kurdistan to continue his studies and was admitted to the Kurdish Department of the College of Language of Salahaddin University in Erbil.
He is the editor-in-chief of Khabat newspaper, Jamawar newspaper, Zagros TV, Gap magazine, Voice of Kurdistan Radio, and currently the Voice of Kurdistan website.[1]
