He was born in 1951 in Kirkuk province and graduated from the Teachers Club there in 1970.
In 1971, he was employed as a teacher in Kandinawa area of Erbil province. He was later transferred to Sulaymaniyah province and worked in villages and towns there.
He began writing in 1969, when he wrote poetry in Arabic.
He has worked as an actor in theater and has been active in the Iraqi Artists Union, Mashkhal Troupe and Kurdish Arts and Literature Association Kirkuk Branch.
He participated in the September Revolution and was a teacher of the revolution in the village of Omeragadeh in the district of Qarahasan, as well as in the camp of Sarawgarm in Sarpeli Zahaw.
He participated in the May Revolution in 1982 and was the administrator of the third branch of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP).
He has lived in Sweden since 1987 and has been teaching Kurdish for 23 years.
He has written poetry, stories, plays and school textbooks in Kurdish, Arabic and Swedish, as well as several drama series broadcast on Kurdish Radio in Baghdad.

He writes speeches in Kurdish and Arabic and publishes them on websites.
He currently lives in Sweden and works as a teacher and translator.[1]
