Mr. Sayed Salam Azizi was born in 1946 in a patriotic family in the village of Aziz Kandi in Bokan, East Kurdistan.
He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in his village and then in Bokan.
In 1971, he entered the law department of Tehran University and after graduating from Urmia, he became a judge and later became the chief justice of Bokan.
He was also engaged for some time in the sacred work of teaching.
In 1978, he became a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran.
Sayid Salam Azizi served in the Democratic Party as a member of the executive committee of the city committee.
He was elected a member of the Central Committee of the party at the 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th congresses.
Membership of the Political Bureau of the Democratic Party for 10 years (1968-1978) and responsibility for social, political, military and financial commissions, and the party's representation in Baghdad show that Mr. Salam is a man of principle and a brilliant example in the field of political struggle.
Commitment to political ethics, protection of national interests, transparency in positions and decisions, comfort and dedication, being patriotic and people, courage in expression, belief in collective leadership, exchange of ideas with friends and good talk, personalities gave Mr. Salam to become a successful, experienced and loyal leader.
In addition to enriching and decorating the newspaper Kurdistan, the organ of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran, Mr. Salam wrote a book entitled Irreversible Journey which he tells the story of the Mykonos tragedy, how the crime occurred, the hidden aspects of the assassination until the end of the Mykonos trial.
Unfortunately, Mr. Sayid Salam Azizi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran and a prominent political and social figure, a well-known figure in the Kurdistan liberation movement, passed away on April 24, 1999 in a hospital in Baghdad.[1]
