در سال 1892 نقشه ی کوردستان بزرگ منتشر شدە است
ناونیشانی بابەت: در سال 1892 نقشه ی #کوردستان# بزرگ منتشر شدە است

نقشه ای از کوردستان بزرگ در سال 1892 (130 سال پیش) توسط یک نقشه کش و دیپلمات انگلیسی تهیه و در سال 1894 در یک مجله منتشر شد، این نقشه بر اساس اولین دیدار کاپیتان فرانسیس ریچارد ماونسل، دیپلمات و نقشه‌بردار بریتانیایی است که در تابستان 1892 به عنوان جاسوسی از بیشتر کوردستان بزرگ دیدن کرد.
نقشه ماونسل از کوردستان بزرگ در سال 1892 تا حدودی گسترده تر از نقشه ای است که محققان کورد تهیە و به آن تکیه کرده اند و در کتاب ها و اسناد دیگری منتشر شده است. این نقشه شامل #عراق# امروزی، شمال شرقی #سوریه# کنونی و شمال غربی #ایران# کنونی است.
این نقشه بخشی از نقشه بزرگ کاپیتان ماونسل است که در همان سال سفر او برای استفاده در برنامه ریزی دولت بریتانیا ساخته شده است. این نقشه در سال 1894 در مجله Geographical منتشر شد.
فرانسیس ریچارد ماونسل، در فوریه 1861 در لیمریک، ایرلند به دنیا آمد. او در کالج چلتنهام تحصیل کرد و در آکادمی نظامی سلطنتی تحصیل کرد، او دیپلماتکار دولت بریتانیا بود و همچنین در ارتش بریتانیا خدمت می کرد.
این دیپلمات همچنین علاقه زیادی به باستان شناسی و جغرافیا داشت و در تهیه نقشه بسیار ماهر بود، او یک افسر اطلاعاتی فعال در اواخر قرن 19 و اوایل قرن 20، در خاورمیانه بود کە در سال 1936 درگذشت.
