Mindestens zehn Menschen sind seit Dienstag in #Ostkurdistan# bei Streiks und Protesten gegen das iranische Regime von Sicherheitskräften getötet worden. Unter den Opfern ist auch ein Jugendlicher im Alter von 17 Jahren.
Mindestens zehn Menschen sind seit Dienstag in Ostkurdistan bei Protesten gegen das Regime von iranischen Sicherheitskräften getötet worden. Das berichtet die kurdische Menschenrechtsgruppe Hengaw. Die meisten Todesopfer gab es der Organisation zufolge in der Stadt #Bokan#, auch in Kamyaran und #Sine# (Sanandadsch) töteten die Regimetruppen kurdische Demonstrierende. In Seqiz (Saqqez) wurde ein 17-Jähriger von Sicherheitskräften erschossen. Dutzende Menschen seien zudem verletzt worden.
Außerdem rollen laut Hengaw neue Festnahmewellen über Ostkurdistan. Dort kommt es den dritten Tag in Folge in mindestens zwölf größeren Städten zu den massivsten Revolten seit Beginn der Proteste, die durch den Tod von Jina Mahsa Amini ausgelöst worden sind. Die 22-jährige Kurdin war wegen angeblicher Missachtung der Kleidungsvorschriften verhaftet worden und kam am 16. September dieses Jahres in Polizeigewahrsam gewaltsam zu Tode.[1]
Am Dienstag hatte ein neuer Generalstreik begonnen, der auch als Gedenken an die Opfer der gewaltsamen Niederschlagung der Proteste von 2019 gilt, die auch als „blutiger November“ bekannt geworden sind. Damals ging es zunächst um steigende Benzinpreise. Die Demonstrationen richteten sich jedoch schnell auch gegen den herrschenden Klerus in Iran. Etwa 1.500 Menschen waren in nur wenigen Tagen weitgehend unbemerkt von der Weltöffentlichkeit getötet worden.
Mindestens 15.000 Menschen bisher verhaftet
Nach Angaben der Organisation Iran Human Rights (IHR) wurden seit Beginn der Proteste vor mehr als zwei Monaten mindestens 342 Menschen im Zusammenhang mit dem Volksaufstand getötet, darunter 42 Minderjährige. Mindestens 15.000 Menschen wurden verhaftet, und die Regimejustiz hat bereits erste Demonstranten zum Tode verurteilt. Die Streiks und Proteste setzten sich aber dessen ungeachtet auch am Mittwoch und Donnerstag fort.
In Ostkurdistan kommt es neben Kamyaran, Seqiz, Bokan und Sine auch in Kirmaşan (Kermanschah), Qurwe (Qorveh), Ravansar, Mahabad, Merîwan, Ciwanro (Dschavanrud), Dîwandere (Divandarreh) und Şahabad (Islamabad-e-gharb) zu massiven Unruhen, die meisten Geschäfte blieben geschlossen. In einigen Orten gelang es der Freiheitsbewegung, sich zumindest zeitweilig der Kontrolle des iranischen Staates entziehen. In Kamyaran und Bokan lieferten sich Demonstrierende heftige Auseinandersetzungen mit paramilitärischen Basidsch-Milizen und den sogenannten Revolutionsgarden, nachdem diese massiv mit Tränengas und scharfer Munition gegen Proteste vorgingen. Zwei Offiziere der IRGC sollen ebenfalls getötet worden sein.
Festnahmen in Teheran wegen Spionagevorwürfen
Auch die Händler des Großen Basars in der iranischen Hauptstadt Teheran, einst Stützpfeiler des klerikalen Establishments, beteiligten sich am Streik und hielten ihre Geschäfte größtenteils geschlossen. Dort sowie in weiteren Städten, darunter Isfahan, Yazd und Ahvaz, führten die Regimebehörden ebenfalls Verhaftungen durch und behaupteten, viele der Betroffenen hätten Verbindungen zur Terrororganisation „Islamischer Staat“ (IS) oder zu westlichen Geheimdiensten. Elf Personen wurden unter dem Vorwurf festgenommen, von ausländischen Spionageagenturen dafür bezahlt worden zu sein, dass sie während der Streiks die Geschäfte auf dem Großen Basar von Teheran geschlossen hielten.
