He was born in 1927 in the village of Take in Qaradagh. His father and grandfather were mullahs. His father wanted him to become a jurist and go to study with Mullah Abdulkarim Muderis at the Biara Mosque.
Anwar Hamagha and Ghafoor Mirza Karim encouraged him to become a communist. In 1949, he became party secretary. In 1953, he was arrested and sentenced to death, which was later overturned under pressure to life imprisonment and he was later released.
In 1994, he founded the Kurdistan Freedom Movement.
He died on 01-12-2020 due to coronavirus and was buried in the cemetery of Takya village of Qaradagh. [1]
