In his own words:
Born in 1972 in Halabja.
Graduated from the College of Law and Politics of Salahuddin University (1994-1995).
I have been working as a lawyer for about 15 years.
After reporting the head of the destroyed regime and other criminals to the High Criminal Court in Baghdad, I attended the trial as a volunteer lawyer. Fortunately, together with six other lawyers, we were able to recognize the Anfal massacre as genocide. Three Anfal criminals were sentenced to death in addition to several other criminals.
In 2008, I was appointed by the Bar Association and the Ministry of Martyrs as the head of the lawyers who will be present in the trial of the regime's leaders in the Halabja chemical attack case in court. I have worked with the utmost loyalty and have exposed dozens of criminals during the regime and action has been taken against them. I have revealed hundreds of foreign companies that have helped the regime. I have revealed the names of several pilots in court who were present with the help of several members of the presidency and several loyalists of the Peshmerga forces. The issue of the chemical weapons attack on Halabja by the destroyed regime was resolved.
Throughout my work as a lawyer, I have published many articles and researches in newspapers and magazines, especially in foreign media I have tried to expose the misery that has befallen my nation in Anfal and Halabja chemical attack. I have contacts with several international judges working in the field of genocide. I have held several conferences on this issue, I have helped several international channels and I have received many appreciation letters from various quarters. I spent more than eight months preparing the final draft of the Halabja case, in which I explained the role and struggle of the Kurdish nation. Despite various information about chemical weapons, compensation for victims and many other issues that can be relied upon as a source of information, I have ignored my own interests and put the interests of the case and the people of Kurdistan and Halabja before my own interests.
I have participated in four cases related to Kurds (Anfal case, Halabja chemical attack case, ethnic cleansing case, case of Kani Ashqan).
He was appointed as the governor of Halabja on 18-03-2010 by the decision of the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Presidency of the Kurdistan Region.[1]
