• He was born in the year 1924 in Zalm village of Hawraman region. In 1934 he went to Hujra and studied grammar, pronunciation, logic, rhetoric, mathematics, and astronomy under a number of Iraqi and Iranian teachers and mullahs.
• In the year 1946, he received his scientific license.
• In the year 1964, he obtained a master's degree in Islamic Sharia.
• In the year 1971, he received a master's degree in comparative jurisprudence from Al-Azhar University.
• In the year 1973, he received his master's degree in law from Cairo University.
• In the year 1975, he received his PhD in Comparative Jurisprudence with honors from Cairo University.
• Since the year 1975, he has taught law at Mustansiriyah University, Baghdad University, Nahrin University and the Judicial Institute.
• In the year 1987, he was awarded the rank of professor at Baghdad University.
• In the year 1990, he was awarded the rank of Experienced Professor.
• In the year1992, he was awarded the Scientific Symbol Award.
• In the year 2005, he received his PhD in Law from Al-Azhar University.
• It has more than 50 books in the fields of law, Sharia, jurisprudence, etc., including (Asbab al-Feqahah, jurisprudence in Islamic Shari'ah, principles of Islamic jurisprudence, الصلله بن المدخل و القانون, rule of the Qur'an, law, and Najj). His books are used as curricula in universities in Iraq, Malaysia, Indonesia and Jordan.
• He has more than 100 research papers in the field of Sharia and law. He is the first person in Iraq to compare law and Sharia by teaching.
• He has had many students from Malaysia, Indonesia, Jordan, UK, etc.
He died in the morning of 04-06-2016 in Erbil, South Kurdistan. [1]
