Amin Sapan Amin Ahmad Ali was born on 13-12-1947, in Ababayle village, east of Halabja. He completed his primary and secondary education there. He graduated from Sulaimani Teachers College (1968-1969). This poet was greatly fond of the poets like Nali, Goran, and Mawlawi. He spent most of his youth in the service of A. A. Shawnam, whom he still considers his teacher of literature and education. The poets Shaho, Kardokhi and Sharazoori had a great literary influence on him. Although he started with poetry, however, he felt that there was an educational gap in teaching the alphabet, so in the year 1978 he published the first new alphabet book for the basic stage of illiteracy eradication. Although he was harassed by the educational institutions of that time, this did not prevent him from continuing to promote this important aspect of education and teaching. With the emergence of the idea of the process of adult education, the first book with the approval of the Ministry of Education Kurdish reading for the first phase of adulthood in 2000, published 41,000 copies. In 2003-2004, the second edition of the book was published in 50,000 copies. In 2006, the book Learning Kurdish in Latin Alphabet was published in 6,600 copies were sold within three months in the field of literature. His book of poems (Tayman Taniw) was published in 1999. One of the strongest poems The Oprah Once in a Year in this book was prepared by the Shinrwe Band of Halabja for the fifth anniversary of Halabja and won first place.[1]
