Ako Mohammed Sabir is one of the most famous writers in Kurdish children's literature. In addition to poetry He now writes stories and operas for children, Ako Mohammed's poems are very tender and pleasant and most children are familiar with his poems.

Ako Mohammed was born in 1969 in Sulaymaniyah. He was acquainted with books and magazines since childhood. He was acquainted with the books of Goran, Fayaq Bekas, Zewar, Kakay Falah, and A.A. Shawnam, etc., and had a small library at home.
In the early stages of school, he was recognized as a gifted student by his Kurdish teacher. When he wrote an essay on a Kurdish subject, the teacher asked him who would write this essay for him? Your writings are not essays they are prose, and he answers me, The teacher tests him and says until the lesson is over write about Newroz and spring for me. When the lesson is over, the teacher takes his writing and reads it, and tells him that he is a talented child.
This assessment of his teacher is very happy and encouraging, then in the fifth grade of primary school as a school activity, a publication was told. (Nashra) bulletin. He writes about Ali Bardashani, whose class won first place in the school class edition competition.
In 1986, his first story for children was published in the cover of the Iraqi newspaper, entitled The l Horizon and the beautiful Nest. Then his first poem entitled Punishment of the Wicked was published in the newspaper Hawkari.
Ako Mohammed Sabir started writing stories and poems defending the rights of birds and animals, and he will continue to write.
In secondary school, he was greatly influenced by the book (kill and demna) and loved writing stories. He was very impressed by the poems of martyr Dilshad Marivani.
After the uprising, he became one of the founders of the magazine Jgargoshkan. He constantly wrote stories, poems and operas as a supplement to Payami Rasti magazine and published them in Papula and Jgargoshkan magazines
The operetta Sima, Cat and Mouse, Elephant and Ant, A Journey to Heaven, was sung by children in the 1990s.
Two poetic works in Kurdistan entitled
1- Chro
2- Kolara
Prints and publishes. In 2001, he left Kurdistan and moved to Europe, where he settled in Sweden.
There he regularly sent his works to Kurdistan magazines
In Sweden, he published his first poem, Nana, and most of his poems were composed and sung.
n 2017, he published the booklet “Four Ways to the Top” for young people which is a collection of stories.
In the same year, he published another booklet of poetry called Kolara, which will be reprinted for the second time in 2018 due to increased demand from libraries.
In 2018, he will publish his latest collection of stories, named Star Stories.
In 2019, the play Two Refugee Children wrote both the text and the poems and was performed by the Sulaymaniyah Children's Arts Troupe under the supervision and direction of Mofaq Lahoni.
He is a continuous supporter of the Sulaymaniyah Children's Arts Troupe with poems for their songs in their festivals and concerts
