هذا الكتاب عبارة عن مجموعة مقالات ونصوص كتبت بين عامي 2013 و2018 من قبل مؤلفه بير رستم، وهو كاتب كردي مقيم في أوروبا منذ أكثر من عقدين. فنجد فيها أكثر من قراءة للفكرة والموضوع الواحد حيث خلال السنوات الخمس حدث الكثير من التطورات والتغيير للأحداث والمواقف ولذلك كان لابد من تأثيرها على قراءة الكاتب لتلك الملفات وذلك بحسب ما جرى عليها من مستجدات دعت احياناً لقراءات مختلفة حيث الكتابة هي عموماً هي للإجابة على المواضيع والقضايا الساخنة فيما يتعلق بالمسالة الكردية وواقعها ومشروع الأمة الديمقراطية المطروحة في روج آفا وسوريا وقدرتها على خدمة القضايا القومية عموماً و#القضية الكردية# خصوصاً.
الآراء الواردة في الكتاب قد تحمل الصواب أو عكس ذلك من وجهة نظر مختلفة، ولكنها تعكس وتوثق جزءاَ من الجدال السياسي والفكري خلال الفترة التي كُتبت فيها.
