Kan'an Najmadeen Ahmad is more commonly known among people as Haji Karwan.
Candidate No. 2 of List 315 of the Kurdistan Islamic Union in Kirkuk for the Iraqi Parliament in 2010. Candidate for the Iraqi Parliamentary Elections in 2018.
His full name is Kan'an Najmadeen Ahmad. He was born in 1970 in Imam Qasim neighborhood of the city of Kirkuk in South Kurdistan. He successfully completed his education. In 1991 he left Kirkuk and moved to Erbil, the capital of Kurdistan Region.
On 04-04-1994, he and Abdulrahman Sadiq and Osama Jamil established the Voice of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Radio in Erbil.
In the year 1997, he was appointed as the director of the radio.
In the year 1999, he visited several European countries for the purpose of preaching and was able to play a significant role in several Kurdish organizations.
In the year 2003, he returned to Kurdistan and continued his charity and preaching work.
In the year 2004, with the help of Suhaib Jamil, he established Bakhtawari Organization, which's main task is to help and sponsor orphans and build and repair houses for orphaned families.
Haji Karwan is married and the son-in-law of a famous personality (Jamil Ali), and has four children named Zhyar, Rezdar, Yaran and Mohammed.
