He was born in 1970 in Erbil. In 1987, he joined the ranks of the Islamic Movement and Imam Shafi'i Forces. After the fall of the Ba'ath regime, he obtained a bachelor's degree from Al-Hura University.
In 1987-1988, he participated in several battles against the Ba'ath regime, with the Kurdistan Peshmerga forces, as the commander of the 99th Freedom Brigade, participated in the 1991 uprising and played a role in the liberation of Kurdistan. He is married with two children and speaks Arabic, Persian, German and English. He learned the entire Quran in Austria in 1998. He has held several party positions and is currently a member of the Political Bureau and spokesman.
He is the Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources of the Kurdistan Regional Government.[1]
