He was born in 1941 in Qazanqaya village of Qaradagh region.
He attended primary school in Qaradagh , secondary school in Halabja and teachers' college in Sulaymaniyah.
He worked as a teacher in the villages of Dizeyi, Sulaymaniyah region and Sulaymaniyah city for about 30 years.
1979-1983 Elected as the administrative secretary of the Sulaymaniyah branch of the Kurdish Writers Union.
In the March 1991 uprising, he was elected president of the Sulaymaniyah branch of the Kurdish Writers Union.
The first book on Kurdish painting published in South Kurdistan is Art and Issues of the Time. 1985 Published in the mountains by Kurdistan Artists Union.
In 1989 he wrote the story for the first 35mm film in South Kurdistan, Nargis Booki Kurdistan, directed by Jafari Ali.
He has been living in Denmark since late 1998.[1]
