Antrag der Fraktionen SPD, CDU/CSU, BÜNDNIS 90/DIE GRÜNEN und FDP Anerkennung und Gedenken an den Völkermord an den
$Êzîdinnen und Êzîden 2014$
I. Der Deutsche Bundestag wolle beschließen:
Der Deutsche Bundestag verneigt sich vor den Opfern der Verbrechen des sogenannten Islamischen Staates (IS) im Irak und in Syrien. Er erkennt das Leiden, das durch die Verbrechen der Terrororganisation IS für Hunderttausende von Menschen verursacht wurde an und würdigt den Widerstand unzähliger Menschen in der Region gegen das tyrannische Unrecht und den entschiedenen Einsatz für Menschenrechte, Demokratie und die Koexistenz der Religionen. Sechs Millionen Menschen wurden allein im Irak durch die unbeschreiblichen Gräueltaten zu Binnenvertriebenen, zu Geflüchteten weltweit – viele von ihnen konnten noch immer nicht in ihre Heimat zurückkehren. Êzîdinnen und Êzîden1, Christinnen und Christen, sowie Angehörige weiterer religiöser und ethnischer Minderheiten und sich dem IS widersetzende Muslimas und Muslime wurden Opfer von Kriegsverbrechen und Verbrechen gegen die Menschlichkeit. Dabei verfolgte der IS insbesondere das Ziel einer vollständigen Auslöschung der êzîdischen Gemeinschaft. Mehr als 5 000 Êzîdinnen und Êzîden wurden insbesondere im Jahr 2014 vom islamistischen IS gequält und brutal ermordet.
Der Deutsche Bundestag erkennt die Verbrechen gegen die Gemeinschaft der Êzîdinnen und Êzîden als Völkermord an. Er folgt dabei der rechtlichen Bewertung des Sonderermittlungsteams der Vereinten Nationen (UNITAD).
Im August 2014 erreichte der IS seine größte territoriale Ausdehnung im Irak. In der Absicht, ein weltweites islamisches Kalifat zu errichten, überfiel er die Siedlungsgebiete der êzîdischen Gemeinschaft. Dort verfolgten Angehörige des IS die vor allem im Sinjar-Gebiet im Norden des Irak lebende religiöse Minderheit, auf deren Vernichtung sie abzielten. In der Nacht vom 2. auf den 3. August 2014 führte der IS einen zentral geplanten, organisierten und koordinierten militärischen Angriff auf den Umkreis des Sinjar- Gebietes durch. Êzîdische Männer wurden zur Konversion gezwungen und bei Weigerung sofort hingerichtet oder verschleppt und als Zwangsarbeiter versklavt.
