He was one of the most famous historians of Sulaymaniyah. He was born on 25-01-1936 in Sulaymaniyah, Malkandi neighborhood of Pirmassour. He went to school in 1944 and then due to the political situation he only studied until 1954 until the third stage. He studied the center and later graduated from the Baghdad Accounting Institute. In 1956, in 1956, he took over the management of Rashid Cinema. In the spring of 1959, he was conspired against and and was imprisoned for 45 days on some political charges. On February 8, 1963, he was imprisoned again for four months.
He was passionate about collecting and preserving the culture and history of Sulaymaniyah.
In 1980, he began collecting historical information about Sulaymaniyah. In 1984, he published volumes one and two.
In 2000, he published the book Shawcharay Shari.
He prepared the Sulaymaniyah City Album, which collected more than 2,000 rare and unpublished photographs of Sulaymaniyah.
He died on 24-01-2019 in Sulaymaniyah.[1]
