Yasin Taha is a researcher and journalist with a master's degree in Kurdistan's religions. He writes in both Kurdish and Arabic for local and Arabic media on cultural, historical and current issues of the region.
- Graduated first of his class from the Department of History of Humanities, Sulaymaniyah University in the academic year of 2002-2003.
- Worked as a reporter for the Hawlati newspaper between 2001 and 2005.
- Worked as a member of the writers' board and in charge of education and Iraq affairs in the newspaper Awene. Before leaving this newspaper, he worked as the deputy editor of the newspaper. 2006-2012.
- He also worked as a journalist with expertise in Kurdistan and Kirkuk affairs in the American McClatchy Media Group www.mcclatchydc.com published reports and analysis between the years 2006-2012.
- Worked as a reporter and analyst for Niqash website www.niqash.org between the years 2006-2011.
- In 2012, he started studying at Mansoura University in Egypt for higher education. In the year 2015, he obtained a master's degree in Kurdistan religions.
- He has published several researches in various websites and magazines, including (Madarat Kurd), (Journal), (Khal).
- In April 2016, he was appointed as the deputy director of NRT Arabic until the channel was shut down in May of 2018.
- He has published a number of analyses and articles on various issues in Kurdistan on the Lebanese website of Daraj Media, which is dedicated to the affairs of Middle Eastern countries.
- He works as a researcher at the Kurdistan Center for Documentation and Academic Research of Kurdistan University, which focuses on ancient Kurdish manuscripts and documents.[1]
