Wahid Marjan was born in 1942 in Erbil.
- He completed his primary education at Ibn Mustafa School.
- Graduated from the Teachers' College in 1962.
- In 1963 he became a teacher in Shaqlawa.
- Participated in the first joint exhibition in Erbil Stadium and received the second prize in 1958.
- He has opened more than 35 exhibitions inside and outside the Kurdistan Region.
- Member of the founding committee of the Dersim Band in 1959.
- Participated in the first Kurdish Art Festival in Baghdad in 1974 with the operetta Baran, which was written and composed by himself. He was a member of the evaluation committee of the festival.
- Worked with the National Arts Team in 1979 as an expert in the field of decoration and clothing.
- Visited the Soviet Union and Austria with the National Arts Troupe as a soloist on the oud.
In 1982, he became the artistic supervisor of the Directorate of Theater and National Arts.
- He was the head of the Erbil music band.
- He was the head of the Kurdish Arts and Specialty Association.
- He was a member of the revolutionary band.
- He was the leader of the workers' band.
- He was the leader of the band.
- He was the leader of the teachers' band.
- In 1994, he was the leader of the National Arts Band.
- After the uprising, he opened many private exhibitions in 1998-2000-2004-2007.
- He is proficient in several musical instruments including violin, oud and rhythm flute.
- He changed the accordion from Western to Eastern for the first time in Kurdistan.
- He has composed many songs.
- He has composed several plays for directors Ahmad Salar, Tal'at Saman and Farhad Sharif.
- He has played with many famous Kurdish musicians including Tahir Tofiq, Mohammed Arif Jaziri, Mshko Hawleri, Maryam Khan, Aisha Khan, Rasul Gardi, Fuad Ahmad, Mohammed Ahmad Erbili, Mohammed Jaza, Isa Barwari.

- He has participated in several theaters and dramas.
