Hussein Nazim Beg was a famous historian, journalist, a famous writer, and Kurdish loyalist. He was the son of Abdulfattah, the son of Wasta Ahmad of Bash Khayat, brother of Amin Mufti. He was born in 1870 in #Sulaymaniyah# in the goizha district, he started his education at six under Khoja Effend. In February 1921, he was appointed as the district administrator of Marga, then transferred to Mawat and became the district administrator. On #20-09-1923#, the newspaper Omidi Istiqlal (The Hope of Freedom) was published in Sulaymaniyah He was the manager. In late 1929, he became editor-in-chief of the newspaper Zhyan until his death in May of 1932.
