Khana Ghobadi was born in Darne area and was brought up in an educated family. When he was young he started his education under the religious men of (Hawraman). He later studied in #Sanandaj# and traveled to many parts of Kurdistan. He was a teacher in composing poetry in the form of songs. He wrote several stories including Shirin and Khasraw, Yusuf and Zulekha, Leila and Majnoon, Iskandar Nama, Hawt Bandi Khana, and Diwani Khana. He is one of the poets who paid attention to the freedom of the Kurdish people and the feeling expressed in his poems, he was proud of Kurds and the Kurdish language and wished for a just leader for the people and society in a poem he says: If the social regime is a regime for the benefit of the community, the earth will become a paradise, otherwise, the country will be destroyed and people will not rest. He composed love, religious and Compliment poems and appears to have been a master of music. He passed away in 1747 at the age of 85.[1]
