He was born in 1972 in the city of #Sulaymaniyah#. He was introduced to Kurdish songs and art since childhood. In 1993, he recorded his first song and became a member of the Kurdish folk music group. He participated in several festivals and artistic activities with the group every year until 1997. Since 1997, he has been working independently. Saman Omar is married and has two children named Kezhi and Kozhin.
Saman Omar is still active and is currently in charge of the Chwar Chira Company (Sulaymaniyah Division) for producing artistic works.[1]
