Li gora Tzvetan Todorov, Mîxaîl Baxtîn giringtirîn teorisyenê edebiyatê yê sedsala bîstan e. Di navenda xebatên Baxtîn de edebiyat hebe jî, wan karîgerî li temamê zanistên mirovî kiriye. Piştî ku bi rêya zanyarên wek Kristeva û Todorov, Baxtin li Ewropayê hat naskirin, li derdora navê wî û bi îlhama xebatên wî ew hinde hizir û teorî hatin avakirin ku wî yê tu carî texmîn nekiribe. Edebiyat, sînema, perwerde, felsefe, semiyotîk, xebatên çandî, antropolojî, xebatên femînîst û postkolonyal, Marksîzm û teolojî hin ji wan qadan in ku karîgeriya Baxtîn li wan bûye.Di teoriya edebî ya Baxtîn de çemkên pirdengî, heteroglossîa û karnaval cihekî giring digirin. Di vê xebatê de ev her sê çemk bi berfirehî hatine ravekirin û bi pirdengiyê Mîrnameya Jan Dost, bi heteroglossîayê Saturna Remezan Alan û bi karnavalê Aporîaya H. Kovan Baqî bi xwendineke nêzîk hatine xwendin. Çar nivîsarên din ên di vê xebatê de dê hem ji bo famkirina teoriya Baxtîn ya edebî û hem jî ji bo dîtina cihê wê di nav teoriya edebî bi giştî de alîkar bin.[1]
