Place of birth: Erbil, Khanaqa neighborhood.
Year of birth: Unknown because his parents disagreed about his year of birth. They always fought over the date of birth. One said that when Sherzad was born, the Jews had already left Erbil. The other said that the Jews had not left Erbil, so the year of his birth could be 1951 or 1952.
In August 1977, he was employed at Sulaymaniyah Electrical and Electronic Industry High School, then at the end of 1978 he was transferred to Sulaymaniyah Mixed Business High School.
From 1994 to June 1997, she worked in the education and media department of the British NGO MGA. For two years, she was the editor-in-chief of the magazine Awat and Hevi, which the organization published, whose goal was to spread awareness in children and students about landmine threats.
In the summer of 1997, he went to Finland on a literary invitation and in June of the same year, he gave a literary lecture on Language and the Personality of the Writer at an international conference in front of a large number of writers from East and West.
He lived as a refugee in Tampere for ten months, then canceled his asylum application and returned to Kurdistan in the spring of 1998. The literary invitation was organized by the World Pen Club.
From June 1998 he worked at UNESCO until the arrival of the United States in 2003.
His main work was related to the cooperation between the organization with the Kurdistan Education Agency and higher education, he was an active member of the programs
From the summer of 2003 until the summer of 2007, he served as a specialist supervisor.
Since September 2007, he has been assigned to carry out media affairs and follow up education problems in Sulaymaniyah province.
As a book publisher, he has four collections of stories, two novels and three novellas.
He has translated more than twenty books in the fields of poetry, stories, novels, plays, psychology, art, media, sociology and politics from English into Kurdish.
He participated in the Edinburgh Summer Literary Festival (Bookcase) in the summer of 2007 in Scotland.
In the past twenty years, he has participated in many conferences and meetings in the fields of children's rights, women's rights, education and environmental protection. In addition to participating in educational courses and seminars in Jordan, the UK and China.[1]
