He was born in 1953 in the Penjwen area of the #Sulaymaniyah# province.
He completed his primary and secondary education in Penjwen.
He completed his high school education in Islamic studies at the Islamic Institute of Sulaymaniyah. He graduated as the top student in the self-governing areas from Islamic schools between the years 1974 and 1975.
In 1978-1979 Graduated from Sharia College in Baghdad with a perfect score. He has been a preacher and a mullah since the year 1977. He has been removed from his preaching position three times, once in Baghdad in 1987 and twice in Kurdistan. He still does not have a mosque to preach in.
He has suffered many persecutions and tortures in his life. He holds a master's degree in Quranic sciences with excellent grades in the year 2006. He is a founding member of the World Union of Islamic Scholars, based in the UK. He is currently a Ph.D. student at St. Clemens University.
He has participated in many Islamic meetings inside and outside Iraq.
He was a former member of the Iraqi National Assembly and a member of the constitution drafting committee.
Hundreds of his cassettes and CDs have been released in the field of Friday sermons and lectures in various fields.
He has dozens of articles in Arabic and Kurdish in the newspapers and magazines of Yakgrtoo ( a Kurdish Islamic Political Party). Also in Islamic Message, Islamic Education and Relationships.
He has several books and pamphlets, two of which have been published.
He is the father of Bilal, Abdul Rahman, Shaima, Abdul Basit, Asma, and Rooni.[1]
