She was born on 15-04-1976 in Malatya. She started working as a journalist in 1994 for Yeni Politika, Democracy, Özgür Bakış and Ülkede Özgür Gündem newspapers. She was a columnist for Everensel, Birgun and Özgür Politika newspapers. After Radikal, she wrote a column called Radikal Iki and finally for Taraf. In 2003, she published his first book, Mayuz Bulunme Hikayleri – Stories of the Division of Mayus. In 2009, she wrote the screenplay for a Kurdish film called Man Dit with Kurdish director Miraz Bazar. In the same year, she was awarded the Golden Orange Award. She died of cancer on 12-04-2010 in Diyarbakır and was buried in Gulpnar village of Malatya.[1]
