He was born in Sulaymaniyah.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature.
He speaks, writes and translates in English, Persian, Arabic and Kurdish.
He has published articles in several newspapers and magazines since the 1980s.
He has written more than 40 books in the fields of philosophy, thought, novels, literary and critical research, etc., most of which are translations from English, Persian and Arabic into Kurdish.
He has been the editor-in-chief or member of the editorial board of several literary and cultural magazines.
He was one of the founders of Sardam Publishing House in Sulaymaniyah and is currently a member of its council and the general supervisor of Sardam book series.
He is a member of the World Federation of Journalists.[1]
