Khalid al-Naqshbandi Son Of Abdul Ghaffar was born in the village of Bamarni in the Dahuk Governorate in 1915, He entered primary school in 1921, then completed intermediate school in Mosul, then preparatory school in Baghdad, then entered the military high school in Baghdad and graduated as a second lieutenant in 1937, He entered the Staff College and graduated from it with the rank of Chief of Staff in 1945, and during his service in the army, he entered the Faculty of Law, Department of Evening Studies, and graduated from it until he was promoted to the rank of lieutenant colonel in 1950, He was appointed commander of the second regiment of the third brigade and commander of the garrison of Rawanduz. - 1955, and he was raised to the governorship of Erbil in 1957, He was chosen as a member of the Sovereignty Council of the Iraqi Republic after the revolution of the fourteenth of July in 1958, and in this position he was honest and keen to serve Iraq and its Kurdish people, until he died on the twenty-seventh of November. In 1961, following a sudden heart attack. In 1938, he married Zumurud Muhammad Rauf Alaeddin Al-Naqshbandi, and she bore him six children. His son, Nizar, was a colonel in the Iraqi army, but he was executed by the former Iraqi regime. In 1961, the Kurdish politician and administrator, Khaled al-Naqshbandi, died at the age of forty-six. .
