The tomb of the Kurdish historian (Marduk Kordestani, 1877 AD - 1975 AD) is located in the village of (Newere) in the city of Sinna (Sanandaj) in eastern Kurdistan.
The mausoleum building is located on a hill, in front of the village of Nawara, 13 kilometers west of the city of Sanandaj. In an area characterized by its beautiful and wonderful natural landscapes, The building of the mausoleum, which is made of rubble stone and gypsum mortar, has a square plan, in each of the four corners of the mausoleum there is a column with a diameter of one meter, with a full arch in the outer facade of the mausoleum, but it extends only to the roof of the mausoleum,
Under the arch is the entrance door. And above the shrine there is an ethnic dome on a leg with a height of about 50 cm. In the middle of the mausoleum room is the tomb of the Kurdish historian and Islamic scholar (Ayatollah Muhammad Marduk Kordestani), on which a tombstone is placed. The floor and base of the mausoleum are mosaics, and the rest of the building is covered with stucco.[1] [2]
