He was born in the year 1965 in the city of #Kermanshah# in East Kurdistan. Because of his passion for music, since a very young age, whenever he heard the sound of Kurdish and traditional Iranian music, he would go towards it and listen to it and engage. He eventually took up the instrument and went to learn from the famous Kermanshahi musician Mahmoud Merati.
After graduating from Kermanshah, Montazeri was admitted to the College of Fine Arts of Tehran University. There he studied music scientifically with Iranian musicians, including Noor Ali Khan Broomand, Mohammad Reza Shajarian, Mohammad Reza Lutfi, Ali Asghar Bahari and many others.
The talented violinist has collaborated with many Iranian traditional music groups, and in recent years he has worked with the talented Iranian setar player Jalal Zulfnoon.
He has performed Kurdish and Iranian music in several countries, including Afghanistan, Pakistan, UNESCO Hall and the Tambourine House in Paris, France.
In 2009, Montazeri participated in the commemoration of the Iranian poet Maulana organized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Paris with the Khurshed Music Group and successfully played the violin solo at the UNESCO Hall in Paris.[1]
